    With your permission allow me to express a candid opinion... and this one come straight from an unabashed fan and humble wellwisher:

    This one is almost straight out of a marketing manual and different from your earlier blogs which were laced with humour, emotion and an endearing style which you have proprieted. Would rather appreciate reading Ganpasrants where you stick to more slice of life contemporary happenings:)

      Thanks Ram for your views. You are right, I had written this article for a Sales training academy blog. Thought that I could post it here as well. I realize now that it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Back in the early 90’s, I was in my late 20’s, employed,   when my parents first broached the subject of marriage to me, I was shocked and brushed it aside. The Profit vs People conundrum.

The world as we knew it has ceased to exist. Well it actually did in December of last year, when, in Wuhan, the capital of Central China’s Hubei province a   small cluster of about 40 odd patients were diagnosed with a mysterious pneumonia. This was subsequently connected to a Novel Corona virus and the Huanan wholesale seafood market. Lots of speculations about its origins, transition and eventual transmission to humans, its reproductive number R-nought, have been made, but none conclusive and with substantiated evidence. They are at best educated deductions made from extrapolating past similar data and at worst conspiracy theories of a Hollywood addict on a weed inspired high, Truth be told, we are now sailing in unchartered waters. The Unsung Hero

THE UNSUNG HERO Another evening getting back from office as I am stuck in one of those absolutely reasonless traffic jams, I ponder over the madness that awaits me at home. Every TV ,well almost every TV in the country is dishing out the IPL mania these days and will continue to do so till sanity returns in about 4 weeks time.. Half way through the tournament I realize that this IPL has reinforced one interesting aspect of life .Irrespective of the stage in life ,or the format of the game in this case, the fundamentals prerequisite for success do not change     Since time immemorial the world has always favoured extraordinary talent over perseverance, flamboyance over persistence and sporadic brilliance over dependability. While only a fortunate   few are blessed with the former virtues , the majority of us lesser mortals have to make do with what we have and compensate with other attributes within our control in our endeavour to excel in whatever professions...
